This Q contents page is unusual compared to other music magazine contents pages. The image we can see provides as a background for the contents page on which the cover lines and page numbers are listed. The image connotates to us that the man is serious about being in the magazine or the main cover line that he is related to is serious towards him as a person. The colours of the image are all dark and plain colours which all relates to the expression on his face which gives off a serious vibe towards the audience. The costume that he is wearing are all casual but smart clothes that could reflect his personality and thoughts at the moment.
The colour of the text that is used all relate to the iconic colours of Q magazine. Using red, white and black allows the text to become more apparent to the consumer drawing their attention to it so they are able to notice the cover lines and the page reference numbers that are placed next to them. What appears to be the main cover line is placed on a red background which connotates excitement as well as drawing the audiences attention to the main cover line
