This double page spread taken from Q magazine is all about the hit artist Lily Allen who appears to be telling her story about how she feels she isn't an attention seeker she is just honest. The masthead on this double page spread is very bold and along with the main image, takes up around 2/3 of the page. The white text placed on a square/jagged background allows the text to stand off the page dramatically. Also, the fact that the text differentiates between upper and lower case reflects Lily Allen's feelings about the article,up and down. The black background that is quite jagged is also quite threatening in its appearance which appears to be iconic of Lily Allen and her personality.
The image of Lily Allen on this double page spread appears to be rebellious and 'cocky' in the way that she is posing. Her facial expression comes across quite arrogant which is backed up by the fact she has her hands on her hips and is leaning forward putting herself in a dominant position. Her costumes also accompanies this as the fact she is wearing a red checkered shirt connotates violence and is quite a threatening colour and including the fact that she is wearing a chain necklace is stereotypical of being violent and being 'gangster like'.
The text that is on this double page spread doesn't take up very much space at all as the masthead and the image are very dominant on this page. The text is in a simple black colour that is legible for the consumer as it stands out on the white background.
