Images can be used to give the page more colour and also link to what subjects are being covered within the magazine.
Headings are used on a contents page to inform of us of the subjects that are being covered in the magazine and are also accompanied by page numbers to show us which page we need to turn to to read that particular article.
Welcome notes are usually used in a friendly manner to make the reader feel welcome therefore making them want to carry on reading the magazine due to the fact that they had a pleasant welcoming note.
Subscription notifications are used so if somebody that hasn't subscribed to the magazine but has read it and likes it can find out to subscribe by looking in the contents page.
